According to a complaint filed with the Bhatkal Town Police, stones were allegedly thrown at the Ismail Sunni Jamiya Mosque and the Tajus-Sunna Arabic Madrasa during a procession in Bhatkal.
As per the complaint, the procession had crossed the Gulmi railway bridge and was moving towards the railway station when the alleged stone-throwing incident took place.
The mosque and madrasa are located on the ground floor of the building. The complaint states that the two religious institutions were allegedly targeted while the procession was passing through the area.
