IMD Issues Alert: Rainfall Likely In 16 States Tomorrow, Strong Winds Expected

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall across 16 states on Thursday, October 8.
According to IMD, most places in Jharkhand are likely to receive rain on October 8, along with strong winds blowing at a speed of 30-40 km/h.
Meanwhile, Odisha is expected to witness thunderstorms and lightning, while Uttarakhand will also see rainfall activity.
The weather department has also warned that winds may gust up to 75 kmph in some regions, and has advised people to take necessary precautions.
