Imtiaz Jaleel Pays Condolences at Residence of Veteran Journalist Abdul Qayyum
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), October 5: Maharashtra AIMIM president Imtiaz Jaleel visited the residence of senior journalist Abdul Qayyum Abdul Rashid at Bhadkal Gate in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Monday evening and offered condolences to his bereaved family.
Abdul Qayyum, editor of the weekly Aurangabad Yuva and a veteran journalist, passed away on Sunday. His death has left his family and members of the journalism fraternity in mourning.
During his visit, Jaleel met Abdul Qayyum’s mother, brother, son and other family members and expressed his condolences. He also assured the family that he would stand by them during their difficult time.
Jaleel prayed for the departed soul and sought Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for the late journalist.
Abdul Qayyum’s brothers Ayub Sheikh and Salim Sheikh, his son Abdul Mujahid, and Hafiz Ali, Azharuddin, Anis Rampure, Altaf Hussain and others were present during the visit.
The passing of Abdul Qayyum has been mourned by people associated with journalism and the wider social community in Chhatrapati Sambhajinaga
