Joe Biden, 82, Diagnosed With Metastatic Prostate Cancer - No New Details From Office Yet

Former US President Joe Biden’s prostate cancer has spread to his bones and other parts of his body, his son Hunter Biden has revealed.

Speaking on BBC’s Newsnight program, Hunter Biden said:  

The cancer has spread. It has reached the bones and other parts of the body.He added that "It is very painful and is weakening him in many ways."Hunter did not provide further details about which other organs the cancer has spread to.  The office of the former president has not released any new information about his illness so far.

Joe Biden, who served as US President from 2021 to 2025, is 82 years old. Prostate cancer that spreads beyond the prostate to bones is classified as stage 4 or metastatic cancer, and often causes significant pain and fatigue.Earlier this year, Biden’s office had confirmed a prostate cancer diagnosis but had not given details about metastasis at that time.There has been no further medical update from Biden’s personal physicians or his office following Hunter’s comments.
