Fresh Twist In Tiger Shroff Firing Probe: Three Accused Reportedly Surveyed Salman Khan’s Home, Found Police Deployed Nearby
MUMBAI:A fresh twist has emerged in the Tiger Shroff firing case as investigators probe whether the attackers had a wider target list.
According to sources, the three accused reportedly surveyed Salman Khan’s home at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra* and found heavy police deployment nearby. The reported recce was allegedly done before they carried out the attack on Tiger Shroff in Juhu on Sunday evening.
What Happened:
Unidentified motorcycle-borne men allegedly opened fire at Tiger Shroff’s car at around 7 pm on Sunday, October 18, as the actor was leaving a football club in Juhu. While Tiger escaped direct gunshot injuries, his driver Firdous sustained a gunshot wound to his left hand and was taken to hospital.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed that the vehicle was targeted as Tiger was leaving the club premises.
Security Beefed Up:
Following the incident, Mumbai Police have tightened security outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments. Visuals show police personnel in bulletproof jackets and police vehicles stationed outside the residence. Officers are also checking vehicles in the area as a precaution.
Security has also been enhanced around filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s home and Aamir Khan’s residence, with an additional police vehicle keeping a continuous watch.
Salman Khan and Rohit Shetty already had security cover, but police have now added continuous patrolling as per standard operating procedure after threats.
Accused Arrested:
In a major breakthrough, all three accused in the case have been arrested from Kota railway station in Rajasthan while travelling from Mumbai to Delhi. Police said they were allegedly planning to go to Delhi and then to Nepal.
CCTV footage shows two suspects rushing to board the Pune-Jaipur Express at Surat station in Gujarat around 1:30 am on Monday, after allegedly travelling to Surat by taxi.
Kota SP Tejaswani Gautam said the accused were lured with money and told they would be settled abroad. One accused, *Rehan Rahisuddin*, allegedly received Rs 37,000 as part of the deal. The group includes one person from Maharashtra and two from Haryana.
Possible Gang Link:
Police are probing claims of a Lawrence Bishnoi gang link behind the firing. An audio message purportedly linked to the gang has surfaced on social media, allegedly referring to Tiger Shroff’s association with Salman Khan and issuing threats to those who work with him.
Investigators suspect the attackers had tracked Tiger’s movements and were aware of his regular Sunday visits to the football ground, indicating a planned recce.
An FIR has been registered under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita along with Sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act. The Crime Branch has formed 15 teams for the investigation and is continuing interrogation of the arrested accused.
