'Why Were You Shaking Hands, Sharing Tea-Breakfast With Us?' — CJP Leader Ashutosh Ranka Hits Back At Jitendra Singh's Foreign Funding Charge

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leader Ashutosh Ranka on Thursday hit back at allegations of foreign funding against the group's protest campaign, questioning why Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh and other government representatives had held talks with its members if there was any suspicion of foreign links.

Reacting to allegations of foreign funding from countries including Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and the United States, Ranka questioned the government's conduct, specifically referring to Minister of State Jitendra Singh.

"Ask Jitendra Singh—if there was foreign funding involved, why were they shaking hands with us? Why were they negotiating with us? Why were they sitting down and holding talks with us, sharing tea and breakfast? Ask him for an answer to that," he said.
