DAUSA, RAJASTHAN:A 16-year-old pregnant minor has alleged that she was abducted and gang-raped by three men near the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan's Dausa. The girl later delivered a baby girl, who was declared dead at the hospital, police said.
According to the initial information, the minor alleged that the accused took her in a car at night and sexually assaulted her one after another near the expressway. They allegedly left her near the Collectorate Circle before fleeing.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. A search is underway to identify and apprehend the accused.
The victim is currently under medical care and support. Police have not released further details to protect the identity of the minor.
Authorities said the exact sequence of events and the condition of the newborn are being verified as part of the investigation.
