“American Troops Not Safe Anywhere” — Senior Basij Commander Warns Unlimited Retaliation After Qeshm Island Strike
American troops will no longer be safe anywhere in the world, a senior commander of Iran's Basij paramilitary force warned, threatening attacks without geographical or operational limits.
Qassem Qoreishi, deputy head of the Revolutionary Guards' Basij organization, said Iranian forces would face no restrictions in selecting targets or determining the range, scale, number or nature of attacks, apart from military tactical and strategic considerations, Iranian media reported Tuesday.
“From today onward, American mercenary soldiers will not be safe anywhere in the world,” he said.
Qoreishi also condemned Western civilization as rooted in bloodshed and plunder, citing European colonialism, the Crusades and the two world wars.
Iran International had earlier reported IRGC urging evacuation, saying obligated to eliminate US and Israeli “terrorist forces” wherever found. Comes hours after Trump told Fox & Friends: “They built anti-aircraft facility… We hit it last night very nicely,” calling it minor attack, not war.
