Pakistani Pilgrims Denied Entry to India Despite Valid Visa, Passport
A group of Pakistani Sikh pilgrims travelling to India to pay obeisance at Gurudwara Shri Hemkunt Sahib was reportedly stopped at the airport despite carrying Indian visas, passports and other required travel documents.
According to the information available, the pilgrims had completed the necessary documentation for their journey. However, they were allegedly not permitted to proceed beyond the airport, preventing them from travelling to the revered Sikh shrine in Uttarakhand.
The incident has raised concerns among the Sikh community, particularly because Hemkunt Sahib is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Sikhs and attracts devotees from India and abroad.
