Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar(Aurangabad): A daughter of Bhandara district and a student of Late Dadasaheb Kalmegh Memorial Dental College and Hospital, Nagpur, Ms. Namira Siddiqui has raised the pride of Maharashtra and Bhandara district across the country by securing first rank (AIR-1) at the All India level in the NEET MDS 2026 examination.

Namira, who came from a very ordinary family and a minority community, achieved this unprecedented success through tireless work, determination, perseverance and self-confidence. Taking note of her historic achievement, she was specially felicitated by Maharashtra's first woman Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajitdada Pawar at the initiative of Nationalist Congress Party's State General Secretary Amer Jetpurwala and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar City Working President Sheikh Qayyum Ahmed.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar congratulated Namira heartily and wished her a bright future. She also honored her success by presenting her with a special gift. She mentioned that Namira's success is a matter of pride not only for her family but for the entire Maharashtra.
