Former Bigg Boss contestant Sofia Hayat has criticised actor Salman Khan over his recent stand against body-shaming, calling him “hypocritical” while recalling an earlier episode involving her during Bigg Boss 7.

Hayat’s remarks came after Salman was seen shirtless during a recent Bigg Boss 20 episode. She questioned the actor’s position on body-shaming and referred to what she alleged were comments made about her body during her time on the reality show.

According to Hayat, Salman’s public stance against body-shaming does not match her recollection of his behaviour toward her during Bigg Boss 7. She described the actor as a “hypocritical idiot” while expressing her criticism on the issue.

The former contestant’s comments have brought renewed attention to her earlier experience on the show and the broader debate around comments about contestants’ appearances and bodies on reality television.

Hayat participated in Bigg Boss 7, which aired in 2013, while Salman Khan has remained closely associated with the franchise as its host for several seasons.
