A major development has emerged in the ongoing Maratha reservation issue. BJP MLA Prasad Lad met Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil and discussed the implementation of the Hyderabad Gazette provisions concerning Kunbi certificates.

According to the announcement made during the meeting, the process of issuing Kunbi certificates under the Hyderabad Gazette is expected to begin by 12 noon tomorrow. It was also announced that the first certificate will reportedly be handed over by Manoj Jarange Patil.

The development is being seen as a significant step in the Maratha reservation movement. The announcement also refers to the distribution of around 58 lakh Kunbi certificates and the proposed establishment of a separate Maratha Ministry, although these claims and the exact implementation details would need to be officially confirmed by the Maharashtra government.
