Iran’s Pezeshkian Opposes Continuing War, Calls for Greater National Resilience
Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Friday that he does not support continuing the war, but stressed that Iran must strengthen its resilience to withstand the pressures and developments expected ahead.
Speaking at a meeting with heads of leading universities, Pezeshkian said Iran should avoid being pushed into negotiations with its adversaries from a position of weakness.
He urged universities to contribute to strengthening the country’s resilience and supporting the government as Iran prepares for what he described as difficult challenges ahead.
