On 23rd April 2026,a Scholarship Distribution Program was successfully org anised by the ALUMINI ASSOCIATION OF GOVT ENGINEERING COLLEGE AURANGABAD (AAGECA) at Government College of Engineering Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar,for the needy students studying in the institute.A total of 33 students received the scholarship.
The program was attended by members of the Alumni Association,faculty members, and a large number of students.
During the same program, a special felicitation (Nari Shakti) was held for Ms. Seema Gadekar madam,an active executive member of the AAGECA, on her recent promotion to the post of Additional Executive Engineer MSETCL.
Special efforts were taken by Alumni Association President Er.Kiran Yambal, Secretary Er.Prashant Nankar,Treasurer Er.Shashikant Yernale and Executive Member Professor Dr. Smita Chavan Madam to collect scholarship funds and ensure smooth and successful execution of the program.
It was also encouraging to see the presence of spouses of some executive members.
The distinguished guests for the event included Principal Dr. Sanjay Dambhare Sir, alumni Er. Chandrashekhar Palvankar, and Er. Sanjay Chhajed. They shared valuable guidance with the students.
The Principal, in his speech emphasised the importance of strengthening the bond between alumni and the students, and suggested various initiatives for better engagement.
The program was anchored and concluded with a vote of thanks by SAT team students Mayuri Futane and Gunjan.
