Zahra Pezeshkian Explores India’s Crafts and Culture at BRICS Bazaar
Zahra Pezeshkian, daughter of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, visited the BRICS Bazaar at the National Crafts Museum in New Delhi along with Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi.
The visit offered Zahra an opportunity to explore India’s rich handicrafts, traditional arts and cultural heritage showcased at the BRICS Bazaar. The event brought together a variety of traditional crafts and products representing India’s diverse cultural traditions.
Zahra Pezeshkian’s visit came during her father’s visit to India for the BRICS Summit in New Delhi. President Masoud Pezeshkian’s presence at the summit highlighted the continuing diplomatic engagement between India and Iran.
The visit to the crafts museum added a cultural dimension to the Iranian delegation’s participation in the high-level summit and highlighted the role of cultural exchanges in strengthening ties between the two countries.
