9 killed, 2 injured in AC blast in Delhi

Among those who lost their lives in the Delhi AC blast are 4 men, 4 women, and a 1.5-year-old child. During the rescue, 10 to 15 people were saved. Of these, two people were injured.

According to information, the fire started due to an AC blast on the second floor, which caused the fire to spread rapidly. People trapped on the third floor ran toward the roof but got stuck due to a locked door and died after being burned. The victims’ bodies are burned to such an extent that identifying the bodies is proving difficult.

The Fire Department said that the bodies of three people were found on the bed, meaning the fire was so intense that they didn’t even get a chance to get out of bed and died from burns. Police have so far confirmed the deaths of 9 people, and this number could rise.

Councilor Pankaj Luthra said that some bodies are burned so badly that only skeletons remain. The deceased can only be identified after DNA tests.
