Mumbai: Mumbai Police Commissioner Devendra Bharti has commented on the Cockroach Janata Party’s (CJP) campaign to visit schools, warning that criminal cases could be registered if its activists enter school premises without permission.
The police warning comes amid the CJP’s reported efforts to reach out to schools as part of its campaign. Commissioner Devendra Bharti made it clear that activists cannot enter school premises without authorisation.
Bharti warned that if CJP workers are found visiting schools without the necessary permission, the police will take legal action and register cases against them.
The warning is being seen as a significant setback for CJP founder Abhijit Dipke, as the police have indicated that unauthorised school visits will not be permitted.
