“I Said Things I Shouldn’t Have”: Faisal Khan Apologises to Brother Aamir Khan, Credits Quran for Reconciliation.
Actor says family ties matter more than being right; mother, sister, brother-in-law, and Aamir accept apology, ending years-long rift ahead of Aamir’s wedding.
What happened,
Actor Faisal Khan has publicly apologised to his brother, Bollywood star Aamir Khan, and the rest of his family for years of bitter public accusations. Speaking to YouTuber Ujjwal Trivedi Faisal admitted that taking family disputes public was a “massive blunder”.
“In anger and pain, I said many things that I should never have said. I should have sat down with my family and discussed them”.
Why now?
Faisal said reading the Quran changed his perspective A verse on the importance of maintaining family bonds made him decide to “forget whatever anyone had done” and prioritise peace over proving who was right.
“More than the truth, I want peace. I want harmony with my family”.
How the reconciliation unfolded
1First call to sister Nikhat. She answered immediately.
Learned mother missed him: Hearing that his mother Zeenat had been longing for him left him emotional.
Flew to Mumbai next day: He met his mother first and apologised, then met Aamir and said, _“I am sorry. What I did, I should not have done. Please forgive me”.
Family’s response.
According to Faisal, his mother, Nikhat, brother-in-law Santosh Hegde, and Aamir all welcomed him with warmth.
“Everyone welcomed me... Now all our grievances have come to an end”.
Background of the dispute
Faisal had previously alleged that his family confined him at home and disputed claims about his mental health. The Khan family had released a statement calling his portrayal “hurtful and misleading”. Faisal now says a later government hospital examination gave him a “clean chit”
Timing.
The apology comes days before Aamir Khan’s wedding to Gauri Spratt on July 5, 2026. Faisal did not address whether the timing was deliberate.
