India Thrash Pakistan 19-0 to Storm Into Women’s Junior Hockey Asia Cup Semi-Finals

India’s junior women’s hockey team produced a sensational performance against Pakistan, securing a 19-0 victory in the quarter-final of the Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2026 in Moqi, China, on Thursday.

The defending champions dominated from the outset, completely overwhelming Pakistan with relentless attacking hockey. India’s forwards repeatedly breached the Pakistani defence, while the team maintained a clean sheet throughout the contest. 

India Continue Dominant Tournament Run

The emphatic win sends India into the semi-finals and keeps their hopes of winning another title firmly alive. India had already topped their group after victories over Japan, Malaysia and South Korea, before a goalless draw against hosts China in their final group match. 

India are now aiming to reach a third consecutive final since 2023. In the semi-final, they will face the winner of the South Korea–Malaysia quarter-final. 

19-Goal Rout Highlights India’s Strength

The 19-0 scoreline underlined the huge gap between the two sides on the day. India combined attacking speed, clinical finishing and defensive discipline to completely control the match.
