Not Me, We’: New City Congress Chief Sayyad Akram to Take Charge on June 14; Calls for Unity to Rebuild Party.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), June 12, 2026:- Newly appointed President of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar City District Congress Committee, Sayyad Akram, will formally take charge at a ceremony on Saturday, June 14 at 2 PM at Gandhi Bhawan, Congress Office, Shahaganj.

‘Resolution of Change’ – The Invitation

In a public invitation, Akram has called it “not just a takeover, but a pledge to reinforce the organization, raise the voices of the public and renew the fight for public interest.” He cordially invited senior leaders, former state and city officials, frontal presidents, office bearers, workers and “every fellow of Congress family” to attend on time.

 Key Message: ‘Becoming the Voice’.

Laying out his agenda, Akram said the demand of the time is for Congress workers to “unite and reunite among the public” by:

Becoming the voice of the farmer.

Becoming a shield of women's rights.

Becoming the hope of the future of youth and students.

Becoming the strength of small businessmen, workers, government and private employees.

With the slogan “Not me, we” he stressed taking the Congress organization “to every street, every neighborhood, every heart.”

‘Struggle Will Continue’

“The struggle will continue... The voice will be loud... And the public's faith will stand with Congress again,” Akram said, adding that the dignified presence of party members is the “real strength”.

The ceremony is being organized by Sayyad Akram and the Joint Coordination Committee.
