‘Never Met Disha Salian’: Aaditya Thackeray Responds to Fresh CBI Probe

Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray has rejected allegations linking him to the death of celebrity manager Disha Salian, saying that he had never met or been acquainted with her.

Thackeray's remarks came amid renewed attention to the case following the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registering a fresh FIR. He alleged that repeated attempts to connect his name with Salian's death amounted to an effort at character assassination.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader also called for the case to be investigated afresh through official investigative machinery and stressed that the inquiry should remain impartial and free from political interference.

His statement followed remarks by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, who alleged that the CBI action was part of a political conspiracy aimed at targeting the Thackeray family. The allegation has added a fresh political dimension to the renewed investigation.

The Disha Salian case has remained a subject of political controversy in Maharashtra, with various claims surrounding the circumstances of her death. Thackeray has now publicly denied any personal association with Salian and rejected allegations attempting to link him to the case.
