ALARM OF DOOMSDAY! 2 MILLION SQ KM OF ICE DISAPPEARS FROM ANTARCTICA, SCIENTISTS SHOCKED.

Record heat melts ice, sea levels could rise sharply by 2100, global warming to accelerate.

WHAT'S THE FULL STORY?

NEW DELHI:

Antarctica may be thousands of kilometers away, but the changes happening there are sounding an alarm for the entire world.

A new research report by the European Geosciences Union, EGU, has stunned scientists. According to the report, in September 2025, Antarctic sea ice was about 2 million square kilometers below the record low.

KEY FINDINGS FROM THE REPORT:

RECORD-BREAKING HEAT

Temperatures in this region of Antarctica were recorded 25°C higher than normal. This abnormal heat lasted for nearly 1 month straight.

WHY IS THIS HUGE ICE LOSS DANGEROUS?

Ocean absorbing more heat: With less ice, the dark ocean water is absorbing more sunlight and heat

Clouds and weather patterns changing: This is altering wind patterns and cloud formation processes

Global warming speeding up: Scientists say this could increase the rate of Earth's heating several times over

 BIG THREAT BY 2100.

A 'Future Science' report warns that melting this much ice could cause sea levels to rise much higher than expected by the year 2100. This increases the risk of coastal cities flooding.

WHAT ARE SCIENTISTS SAYING?

EGU researchers believe there is a direct link between Antarctic sea ice and global warming. Ice disappearing on this massive scale is a signal of major changes in Earth's climate system.

Scientists have called this an "alarm of doomsday" and said that if ice continues to melt like this, it will impact crops, weather, and coastlines across the world.

The Earth is getting hotter

Ice is disappearing

Our future is in danger

Wake up now. Save the Earth.
