Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar District Hospital Seeks Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon; Applications Invited

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, October 30: The District Hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is inviting applications from qualified eye specialists for the position of a Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon under the National Programme for Control of Blindness.
According to an announcement issued by the District Civil Surgeon’s Office, eligible candidates must possess an MS or DNB degree in Ophthalmology. Applicants must also have the necessary skills and expertise to perform vitreo-retinal surgeries.
The selected specialist will be appointed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The doctor will receive an honorarium of Rs 10,000 per patient for each surgery performed at the hospital.
Interested and eligible ophthalmologists are required to submit their educational qualification certificates, experience certificates covering the last three years, and other necessary documents, along with a Rs 100 stamp paper.
Applications and supporting documents must be submitted to the Office of the District Civil Surgeon at the District Hospital, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, on or before November 6, 2026.
The District Civil Surgeon’s Office has appealed to qualified and interested specialists to submit their applications along with the required documents within the stipulated deadline.
