MAJOR LAUNCH:
The Telangana Government has launched the AI Readiness & Digital Safety Programme for nearly 80,000 students across 205 TMREIS schools and colleges in the state. The initiative aims to equip students from minority communities with skills needed for the digital future.
3-YEAR PARTNERSHIP & CURRICULUM:
Under a three-year partnership with MASK NextGen and Doxa Consulting Private Limited, students will receive free training in:
Artificial Intelligence.
Digital Safety & Cyber Hygiene .
Leadership Development.
English Communication.
Critical Thinking.
The program is designed to make students not just technology users, but innovators and leaders.
GOVERNMENT'S VISION:
Speaking on the launch, officials highlighted that under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy Garu, the Telangana Government is committed to ensuring every child, especially girls, has the opportunity to thrive in the digital age.
The focus on TMREIS institutions reflects the state’s push to bridge the digital divide and empower students from minority welfare institutions with future-ready skills.
The programme is being positioned as one of the largest state-led AI skilling initiatives for school and college students in India.
