Owaisi Attacks RSS Over Bhagwat’s Call for Hindu-Muslim Harmony
Owaisi Criticises Bhagwat Over Hindu-Muslim Unity Remarks, Calls It ‘Old RSS Tactic’
New Delhi: AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has criticised RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat over his recent remarks advocating Hindu-Muslim unity, describing the RSS approach as an old political tactic.
Bhagwat, speaking at an event in New York, emphasised religious coexistence and said that a person who believes Muslims should not have a place in India cannot truly consider himself a Hindu.
Owaisi, however, questioned the RSS's messaging and accused the organisation of using the language of Hindu-Muslim unity as part of a longstanding strategy.
Bhagwat's remarks have triggered wider political debate, with supporters highlighting his emphasis on coexistence and critics questioning the RSS's broader ideological position.
