Before It Is Too Late’: Iran Issues Fresh Warning to Washington

Iran Warns US: ‘Era of Proportionate Responses Is Over,’ Ghalibaf Says

Tehran, September 6: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf has warned the United States that the “rules of the game have changed,” saying any future aggression against Iran’s interests or security would trigger a “faster, heavier and more painful” response.

Speaking on Sunday, Ghalibaf said Washington must understand “before it is too late” that Tehran would no longer limit its response to what he described as proportionate retaliation.

He said recent Iranian strikes against locations identified by Tehran as US bases in the region were “only the beginning.” His remarks come amid renewed military escalation between Iran and the United States, including attacks involving military and commercial vessels in and around the Strait of Hormuz.

Ghalibaf also accused the US of relying on artificial intelligence to create battlefield images and videos, alleging that Washington was using such material amid setbacks in the conflict. Iranian state media reported similar claims from the parliament speaker.

The latest warning signals a further hardening of Tehran’s position as military tensions between Iran and the US continue to escalate.
