I Ended Eight Wars’: Trump Renews Claim for Nobel Peace Prize

Trump Again Claims He Deserves Nobel Peace Prize After ‘Ending Eight Wars’

WASHINGTON, September 7, 2026: U.S. President Donald Trump has renewed his claim that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, citing what he says is his role in bringing an end to eight international conflicts.

Trump has repeatedly highlighted his administration’s diplomatic efforts and argued that his record of intervening in global conflicts merits recognition from the Nobel committee. The White House has also promoted the claim that Trump helped end eight major conflicts.

Trump’s assertions have, however, faced scrutiny from foreign-policy analysts. While his administration has been involved in ceasefires and diplomatic agreements, several of the conflicts he lists remain unresolved or have experienced renewed tensions.

The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by the Norwegian Nobel Committee to individuals or organisations judged to have made a significant contribution to peace. Trump’s repeated calls for the award are therefore likely to remain a subject of political debate.
