Shankaracharya Refuses To Visit Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Calls It "BJP-RSS Office.

SHANKARACHARYA: "I HAVE NOT VISITED RAM MANDIR, HAVE NO PLANS TO GO".

Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has said that he has not visited the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and currently has no plans to visit it.

His remarks have drawn attention amid ongoing public and political discussions around the temple.

 "TEMPLE FUNCTIONING AS BJP-RSS OFFICE, NOT TRUE PLACE OF WORSHIP".

Speaking on the issue, the Shankaracharya claimed that the Ram Mandir is still functioning more like a BJP-RSS office than a true place of worship.

According to him, a religious site should remain completely dedicated to spiritual activities and should not be linked to political interests.

 "WILL VISIT ONLY WHEN IT'S FREE FROM POLITICS".

He stated that he would consider visiting the temple only when it operates solely as a temple and is not influenced by politics.

REMARKS LIKELY TO SPARK DEBATE;

Given the significance of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Shankaracharya’s comments are expected to spark debate among religious and political groups.

The temple, inaugurated in January 2024, has been at the center of both religious sentiment and political discourse since its construction.
