Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Shock: Father Dies Trying To Save Son, Mother Also Falls From Cliff

A tragic incident in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, has claimed the lives of three members of a family after a teenager allegedly attempted to die by suicide at Khawadya Hills in the Tisgaon area on Friday.

According to reports, 19-year-old Kunal Chandgude had gone to the hill with the intention of taking his own life. His 48-year-old father, Murlidhar Chandgude, tried to pull him away from the cliff, but both lost their balance and fell to their deaths.

The tragedy took another devastating turn when Kunal's 42-year-old mother, Sangeeta Chandgude, witnessed the deaths of her husband and son and subsequently jumped from the same hill, resulting in her death. 

The incident has left the local community shocked. Reports indicate that police, fire brigade personnel, relatives and local residents had attempted to persuade the teenager to move away from the dangerous edge before the fatal fall.
