Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, July 13 :The functioning of the Maharashtra State Waqf Board has once again come under serious scrutiny following allegations of irregularities in property auctions and illegal occupation of Inam lands.

A delegation from the I.S.L.A.M. Party met Chief Executive Officer Fayyaz Ahmed Khan on Monday and submitted a detailed memorandum demanding a high-level inquiry into the entire matter. The party warned of *mass agitations if criminal action is not taken against those responsible.

KEY ALLEGATIONS;

Dargah Kawde Shah Sahab Auction Scam. The I.S.L.A.M. Party alleged serious irregularities in the auction of Waqf property at Dargah Kawde Shah Sahab, Ghas Mandi, City Chowk: Advertisements published in newspapers with low circulation Auction conducted for different area size than mentioned in ads   Valuable Waqf property leased at extremely low rate

 11-month lease ended but possession not taken back, allowing beneficiaries to continue gainsThe party claimed complaints were made earlier but no effective action was taken.

Illegal Occupation of 30 Inam Lands; 

   In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, around *30 Inam lands under direct control of the State Waqf Board have reportedly seen no bidders for 3-4 years.    However, the party alleged that many people are still farming on these lands and illegally occupying them.  

   "If no one participated in the auction, then who gave permission for farming?"the party questioned.

Role of District Waqf Officer Questioned:

   The party alleged the District Waqf Officer was aware of unauthorized possession but took no action to remove encroachments, did not inform higher authorities, and that financial transactions may have occurred in these cases.  

   Demand: Independent inquiry, disciplinary and criminal action, and dismissal from service if found guilty.

CEO's Presence Questioned;

   The party also raised concerns about CEO Fayyaz Ahmed Khan not being present regularly at the headquarters in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar despite being a full-time appointment.  

   "Running Waqf Board operations from Mumbai while headquarters is in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is not appropriate,"the leaders said.

DEMANDS IN MEMORANDUM:

High-level probe into Dargah Kawde Shah Sahab scam

 Cancel illegal leases and take back property

Special inspection of all Inam lands in district and remove unauthorized occupation  

 Recovery of financial losses

Strict action against guilty officials

The memorandum was submitted under the leadership of City President Rafat Yar Khan. Other party office bearers including Azhar Pathan, Abul Hasan Hashmi, Arif Husaini were present.

WARNING:

The I.S.L.A.M. Party warned that if a fair inquiry and strict action is not taken, they will launch democratic agitations, protests, and legal battles.  

"The entire responsibility for any situation arising to protect Waqf properties will lie with the Maharashtra State Waqf Board administration,"the party stated.
