Country Needs Evidence Not Allegations: Thakur Says Rahul Claimed 200 Officials From ED, CBI, MEA Giving Him Info Bring Proof Or Apologise

NEW DELHI: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP *Anurag Thakur on Monday launched a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi over INDIA bloc's march to Supreme Court, calling him a "hawa-hawai leader  sab hawa hawai hai".

What Happened:

 INDIA bloc leaders led by Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took a bus march from Constitution Club towards Supreme Court on Monday Oct 12, seeking judicial intervention over alleged vote-chori, irregularities in electoral process, demanding action against CEC Gyanesh Kumar. Protesters gathered at Barakhamba Road for 'Chalo Delhi  March for Democracy'. Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi led advocates protest.

Supreme Court reportedly asked leaders to file a formal petition* rather than seek an administrative meeting with CJI when matter is sub-judice.

Thakur's Attack At Press Conference At BJP HQ:

"Rahul Gandhi is LoP, but he doesn't know real facts. His nature is to create unnecessary ruckus in nation. Rahul Gandhi is a 'hawa-hawai' leader  everything is zero, just empty talk. Hollow statements, baseless allegations, hollow actions, hollow protests and hollow facts,"Thakur said.

"After losing 99 elections, it has become his habit to blame Election Commission and government. Now he is even using street-level language. Dust was on his own face, yet he kept wiping the mirror," he added.

 BJP Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also dismissed march as "drama, pure theatrics", calling protesters "group of hooligans creating anarchy".
