“Yesterday It Was Juice, Today It’s Lassi”: Cop’s Codeword Leaves Rider Speechless

“Yesterday It Was Juice, Today It’s Lassi”: Cop’s Codeword Leaves Rider Speechless

Helmet Fine Today, “Lassi” Is the Code Word!

Yesterday, I accidentally stepped out on my bike without wearing a helmet. At a traffic junction, the police stopped me and began issuing a ₹1,000 fine. After a lot of pleading, they agreed to settle it for ₹250.

Just as I was about to start my bike, I noticed that there was another police checkpoint at the next junction. I worried that they might stop me too, especially since the police at the first junction had not given me any receipt.

So I went back and asked them what I should do. One of the policemen casually said, “Just tell them, ‘I had some juice at the previous junction.’ They’ll let you go.”

Following his advice, I crossed all the signals, reached my destination and safely returned home.

Today, I once again accidentally forgot to wear my helmet and stepped out. As expected, the police stopped me. But this time, I wasn’t worried at all—I remembered yesterday’s experience.

With complete confidence, I told the policeman, “I had some juice at the previous junction!”

But what happened next was completely unexpected!

The policeman replied, “Take out ₹1,000… Today’s code word is lassi!”
