Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has stated that the country does not seek war with the United States and Israel, but will protect its rights as a nation. In a written message, Khamenei emphasized Iran's commitment to defending its sovereignty and interests 

Khamenei reiterated Iran's desire for peace, but emphasized its readiness to defend itself against any aggression.

Iran will not renounce its legitimate rights under any circumstances, including its nuclear program and regional influence.

Khamenei expressed solidarity with the "resistance front," including Lebanon's Hezbollah, in their struggle against Israeli aggression .

The statement comes amidst ongoing tensions between Iran and the US, with negotiations underway in Islamabad to discuss a ceasefire and Iran's nuclear program. Iran has presented a 10-point proposal, which includes the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of sanctions .
