‘See You Tomorrow’: Abhijeet Dipke Mocks Security Measures Ahead of CJP Protest in Delhi

CJP Leaders Mock PM Modi Ahead of October 10 Delhi Protest

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has taken a sarcastic dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the organisation’s planned protest in Delhi on October 10, questioning the security measures and alleged transport disruptions in the national capital.

In a video shared on social media on October 9, Dipke is seen alongside fellow CJP activists Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das, making sarcastic remarks about the restrictions imposed ahead of the proposed demonstration at Jantar Mantar.

“Blood pressure check karte raho, see you tomorrow,” Dipke says in the video, taking a swipe at the Prime Minister. He also alleges that railway services have been halted because CJP members are planning to protest in Delhi.

The three activists discuss the reported closure of Metro station entry and exit gates and railway cancellations, using humour and political jibes to criticise the security arrangements. Das also compares the reported restrictions with measures imposed during the Emergency, while Ranka questions the rationale behind the arrangements.

The CJP has announced the protest over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and is demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Delhi Police Denies Permission for Protest

The planned demonstration comes amid heightened security in the national capital. Delhi Police has denied permission for the October 10 protest, citing the short notice given by organisers and concerns relating to public safety, law and order, and traffic management.

According to reports, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation announced that entry and exit gates at 57 Metro stations would remain closed from 9 pm on October 9 and throughout October 10 until further notice, citing security reasons. Railway cancellations were also reported for selected trains scheduled to arrive at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations.

Despite the denial of permission, Dipke has maintained that CJP activists intend to proceed with their protest.

The video has added to the political debate surrounding the demonstration, with CJP members questioning the scale of the security arrangements and authorities citing public safety and law-and-order concerns.
