BJP Chief Nitin Nabin Slams CJP Over ‘Negative Politics’, Alleges ‘Foreign Directions’ Behind Protest.
Speaking in Ranchi, Nabin says “people sitting abroad” can’t dictate India’s youth; CJP gives 7-day ultimatum for Education Minister’s resignation.
New Delhi/Ranchi– BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Saturday took a veiled swipe at the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar, accusing it of pushing India’s youth into “negative politics”and taking directions from abroad.
Addressing an Intellectuals Meet in Ranchi, Nabin said: “Today's youth wants to work for the construction of the nation, wants to work to secure their future. But some people have labeled this country's youth as anti-establishment.”
He added: “Some people, sitting abroad, think that they will dictate the direction to India's youth. To those who want to drag this country's youth into negative politics, I warn them that India's youth will engage in positive politics.”
Nabin said the BJP will “oppose such moves through democratic means”but will not allow the standards of democracy to be destroyed.”He asserted: “India's youth will not move forward as puppets in the fists of a few people.”
CJP’s 7-Day Ultimatum.
The remarks came hours after CJP warned of a nationwide agitation if Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan does not resign in seven days over alleged exam irregularities.
“We are giving the government seven days. Either Dharmendra Pradhan should resign respectfully, or Prime Minister Narendra Modi should sack him. If his resignation does not come within seven days, this movement will spread throughout the country,”said CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka at Jantar Mantar on June 6, 2026.
Ranka called the protest “the beginning of a broader youth movement focusing on education and governance issues”and said the online campaign that began in May has "garnered more than 22 million followers on Instagram.”
Foreign Directions’ Charge
Referring to CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, Nabin said: “Some people sitting abroad assume they can give directions to the youths of India… Today’s youths want to work towards nation-building and secure their future. But some forces are trying to make the country’s youths anti-establishment.”
The CJP, led by Dipke who returned from the US on June 6, held its first on-ground protest at Jantar Mantar Saturday, demanding Pradhan’s resignation over NEET, CBSE, CUET and SSC exam issues.
The BJP has not named any specific “foreign funding”_ in Saturday’s remarks, but Nabin’s comments echo earlier BJP allegations against Opposition groups over alleged foreign links.
Nabin alleges “people sitting abroad” are dictating youth, pushing “negative politics”.
