The NEET-UG exam held on May 3 was cancelled following paper leak allegations. Over 2.27 million students took the test across 551 cities before it was scrapped. The re-examination is scheduled for June 21, 2026.

"Far from slowing down, this devastating trend is intensifying as the pressures of upcoming re-examinations loom over our youth,” Dipke wrote.

Financial Ruin for Families.

Dipke highlighted that many families had “taken out massive educational loans to support their children's dreams, that were cruelly shattered by systemic failures.”.

"Having lost the very children they poured their life savings into educating, these families have been left entirely destitute,”the letter stated. “Beyond the unbearable emotional trauma these families are now facing severe, compounding financial ruin.”

CJP founder recently met the family of Akanksha Chaturvedi, a NEET aspirant who died by suicide in Nagpur allegedly due to depression caused by the exam cancellation.

CJP Protest & Political Pressure.

The letter comes ahead of CJP’s second protest at Jantar Mantar on June 20, 2026. where the youth-led outfit plans to intensify its campaign against “examination irregularities and the government's failure to ensure accountability.”
