Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian delivered a defiant message to US President Donald Trump during his address to the United Nations General Assembly, saying Iran would not submit to threats or military pressure.

Pezeshkian reiterated that Iran does not seek nuclear weapons but would not surrender what Tehran considers its right to peaceful nuclear technology. He also criticised US and Israeli military actions against Iran, arguing that negotiations cannot take place under coercion.

The Iranian president’s remarks came amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington and ongoing international efforts to prevent further escalation.

Pezeshkian called for diplomacy based on mutual respect and said Iran was prepared to defend its sovereignty and national interests while pursuing peaceful solutions.
